Leighton Buzzard Kickboxing Academy is a safe and friendly place to learn martial arts, meet new people & transform your physical and mental well-being.

Established in Leighton Buzzard & Wing since 2009. We welcome beginners to advanced, juniors from age 4, adults no upper age limit! We also have a female only class. Affiliated to Martial Arts GB, recognised by Sport England.

We always encourage members to set their own train

We always encourage members to set their own training goals and commitments. Regardless of their age.

We remind our juniors, we’re not like regular school, there’s no pressure to grade or achieve unless that's what they want.

Gradings are available, but it’s important they train because they want to, not because we expect it. Achieving belts is never for anyone else—not for their parents, not for us—it’s only for them.

The same goes for practice; it should be done because people are motivated to, not for anyone else.

With what seems like constant testing and exams in schools today, we don’t want to add to that pressure. Instead, we aim to run classes where everyone can train on their own terms and build independence. And..if you want to achieve...we will support you all the way.

Fight Seminar 8 March - A fantastic 3 hours with one of the most exciting light con fighters on the circuit at the moment - to be revealed! A session of fight and flexibility drills and more!

The line work, the pad work, the competitions, the sweat-soaked classes, the gradings, the hill runs, the sprints, the burpees, the focus, and the feeling of power and confidence that comes from knowing you can punch and kick with impact.. The absolute presence you feel when sparring.

All of this, as a secondary by-product, resulted in me getting into the best shape of my life. That happened while my focus was entirely on martial arts, not on "getting fit."

Don’t start martial arts just to get fit. Definitely don’t start to lose weight. You’ll miss the best reasons. Go find something that could be your passion!

🌟 A heartfelt request to our kickboxing community parents 🌟

If your child is thinking about leaving our academy, we’d love the chance to have a quick chat with them before they go.

Our goal is to understand their reasons and see if there's anything we can do to help, often are! However, even if they’re set on moving on, we really like the chance to say goodbye and wish them well on their new journey with lots of luck from the club. 💪🏽

We value every student and especially value independence, so we never put pressure on anyone to change their mind, we just like the chance to make all of their experience a positive one, including the decision to leave. Especially if we have known your child for some time.

It is a privilege to be part of any members life no matter how long or short they stay.
